Inside Thailand, I have flown with Air Asia and Nok Air but there are other options as well. I have heard of Thai Airways, Thai Smile, Orient Thai and others but you will have to do your research on them if you want to.

I don’t think Air Asia or Nok Air are considered premium airlines, but every time I have had a flight with Air Asia, the plane felt newer, cleaner and better overall. I don’t remember ticket prices for these two, so I just did a small research and found out that flight ticket price from Bangkok to Krabi at Air Asia start ar USD 21,73 (EUR 18,94) for one person with hand luggage. And USD 22,39 (EUR 19,52) at Nok Air. Either it was another airline or prices had been raised, but I reckon to buy a ticket for EUR 9!?
Be aware that at Don Mueang Airport you have to look for Terminal 2 as it serves domestic and regional flights.
